Contact UsKai is a brave 6-year-old boy living with a rare and extremely challenging genetic disorder. His condition affects every part of daily life - mobility, comfort, independence, and the way his family navigates each day. For years, Kai’ s parents have poured every bit of time, energy, finances and love into giving him the best possible quality of life.
When the community reached out and shared Kai’ s story with us, we knew immediately that this family deserved something extraordinary.
Thanks to the amazing team at Host on the Coast, Kai and his family were gifted a 5-day getawayso they could rest, breathe and spend quality time together. While they were away, the Love It Landscaping team - supported by our generous sponsors - completed a full backyard transformation valued between $100, 000– $150, 000in just five days.
The new space was designed to be safe, accessible, sensory-friendly and calming - somewhere Kai can play comfortably, explore freely, and enjoy time outdoors with his family. For his parents, it’ s a space that lifts some of the weight of daily life and brings a little more light into their home.
