When her story was nominated, we knew this was a family who needed something uplifting, supportive and full of heart.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Host on the Coast, Sarah and her family were treated to a 5-day getaway, giving them precious time to rest and recharge together. During those five days, our team - alongside our hardworking sponsors and trades - completed a full backyard transformation valued between $100,000–$150,000.
The final result is a peaceful, private outdoor sanctuary designed for rest, connection and creating meaningful memories. A place where Sarah can unwind, her children can play, and the family can experience moments of joy during an incredibly difficult chapter.
